    Default Bushes and drop links?

    Hi All,
Recently had new front springs fitted by the Stealers as the o/s had snapped, done under warranty thankfully. I do notice sum banging at times when crawling in traffic and over bumps, from both front and rear. There seams to be a lot of talk about drop links and bushes and wondered about replacing them as I gather they are relevantly cheap to buy. Are they easy to fit? and are there bushes on the front and rear?

the bushes are relatively easy to fit, thou access to them can be a swine..they are just held on to the relative subframe by a 'U' clip and 2 x M8 torx headed bolts..If you've got the fingers of a child you'll be fine..the bushes are about £1.50 each, and allow about a half hour to change each corner..and yes, fitted front and rear

The anti roll bar links are dead easy, remove the road wheel and support the car on stands..17mm spanner, 18mm socket..use the spanner BEHIND the socket to hold the balljoint shaft still, and then just undo the 18mm nut, the linkarm will then just come off.. it may require a prybar as the antirollbar will 'fight' you a little bit..undo the top and bottom joint and it's that easy.. Replacements are about £15 each retail.

    Thanks for that info,
I have seen some bushes for sale from VSC Centre on ebay, but not any drop links, I am probably aswell getting them from vauxhall as the price isnt to steep. Are there any other worth while known wear and tear parts swapping while I'm at it?
