    Default H/Light Adj for Germany?

    OK guys the garage tells me you can't adjust the lights for continental roads..........is it stickers?.......it's an 04 plate Signum.

    It's easy Bryan.. you're being fed a line on this one.....

    Page 147 of your handbook will tell you how to do it, or i'll do it for you on the docks at dover.. it'll take longer to get the lamp covers off the back than adjust them....

    Page 147 of my handbook does not have anything to do with lighting

    so does that mean i HAVE A WIERD CAR

    Could you tell me what I am looking for and where to find it as I drive abroad almost monthly at the mo

    right, it's page 147 on the 2004 handbook.. remove the main beam/sidelight bulb covers..then, in a crevice between the headlamp adjuster motors and the back of the lamp body there is a tiny finger lever about 20mm long.. that is the beam adjuster..

    swap it's position over and the beams will have moved to 'continental' settings..

    you'll be longer fighting with the covers than you will changing the beams..

    well I have had a good look and its hiding guess I will just have to turn up at a meet and have somebody in the know show me.
    Now there's an excuse for a pint and a packet of crisps.

    The manuals varied slightly over the years, so it may be on a different page on yours. As yours is a pre-facelift then it's exactly as Mark said - a lever needs adjusting on each light. Takes a few minutes.
