You will need to do some searching on the forum mate.
The subject is covered many times over.
Basically the update disk just updates the software (firmware in the headunit for menu options etc) BUT to have "Aux In" retrofitted, is not a Tech2 job, it is a mod to the headunit itself involving the fitting of several SMD miniature components to the circuitry inside the CD70.
Checkout my Trader Section fella, the link is in my signature. Also do some searches for Retrofitting Aux In.

I thought once you have the update you need to have it enabled?
Have you searched for this or done any reading up of other threads on the same subject ?
1 - Aux in needs the new components adding to the circuit boards but they are very small indeed and it will be easy to write off the CD70 if you do not have the skill and tools required.
2 - Once fitted, the radio needs to have the firmware updated using a Vauxhall CD that costs around £10 and then enabled with tech2/vauxcom.
Have you looked at my forum thread ? It is all explained there and it will save re-typing everything.

So, are the components fitted now ?
Nope wating for them to come and will be done as soon as they come.
Then there will be a lot of people that can assist with programming and the software update when it's done
Just get along to one of the meets, even if it's at Billing, or Royal Wootton Bassett or wherever, by prior arrangement.
I don't think there are too many Vectra-C.com forum members active, and with the technology needed, in South Wales right now
Will have the update cd by next week if any one else needs to update in Cardiff area.
