Thumbs up Leather 4 spoke steering wheel, buttons & airbag

I have found a steering wheel that I'm interested in (3 spoke SRi jobbie) and therefore my wheel will be surplus to requirements. The wheel is currently fitted to my 52 plate Vectra C Elegance.

The airbag is in very good condition with no damage. The wheel itself is in good overall condition, with only a couple of small marks. The is wear on the wheel, but it still feels nice to hold.

I'm looking at £100 ovno for the wheel, see pic below.

    Thanks,
    Chris

The new wheel you're looking at still has the six button controls? If it has the rocker switches then they won't fit the connector underneath on your car.

Just thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't realised.

    Forgot to say....

Your 52 plate will only have one airbag connection in the car. They changed from one connector to two connectors in MY 2003.5 (May 2003) so you'll need to make sure the new airbag is from a car from then, or before, to fit your car.

It does mate as it is from an 03 SRi, it even has the silver button surrounds I was wanting, result.

Are the airbags easy to remove?

I better check that, I thought the one to two wire connection changed in 2004! It would be typical if it was different!!

Yep - BUT MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND LEAVE FOR 10 MINS before starting to remove.

Turn steering wheel 90 degrees from straight. Push screwdriver in and twist, one side will pop out. Twist 180 degrees and repeat.

    Done

I have emailed the guy selling the wheel to establish if the wheel is definately from a 2003 and how many connectors the airbag has!!
