    Default key fob

    my key fob went all weird on me today, when i pressed to open the windows went down and vice versa when i locked it, now it wont work at all, it only does this with my set, the wifes set is fine

    anyone help at all

    the windows only open & shut when you keep the lock or unlock buttons pressed (as im sure you know) might be worth taking it to the stealers to get it tech 2'd again & see what happens perhaps

    now the wifes doesnt work my battery has leaked and its possible that hers is dead so its down to the dealers to have a looksy

    Yea afraid so then mate never had this problem myself but am pretty sure they gotta be tech 2'd when the batterys are changed

    they only need tech2 if they are without power for more than 30 seconds..so if you're quick changing the battery you may be lucky...thats not an open case for 30 seconds, it's no battery on the contacts for 30 seconds.

    If the battery is totally shot you may need tech2 to 'teach' the car the remotes again..

    When i changed the batterys in my remotes the car wouldn't lock/unlock,turned the ignition on and off then all ok again.
