Interior light

I am a forum virgin so please accept my apologies if I am getting this all wrong, tried FAQ with no luck. 54 Vectra 1.8 estate, interior lights not working, bulbs are good, boot lights are ok but front interior not working.. please help..

Look in the fusebox on the passenger side of the dashboard. I had the exact same issue when I first got the car. Look for a blue-cased fuse in the middle of the box. I can't remember the amp or fuse number, but it's the fuse that controls the interior light, trip distance, clock lights and aircon lights.

change the fuse and you should hopefully be all good!

All the fuses are good. This is the only thing not working.....

Are your clock lights and aircon/climate control lights coming on when you turn the sidelights on?

Yes all the other lights are good even down to the symbols on the light fitting when I open the doors or turn the lights on. I am getting an earth and a live at the plug. These are operating correctly when the doors are open, but I have no map lights or dome lights even when buttons are pressed. I have changed the unit as well. Any ideas?

Hi did you sort it as I have same prob, boot light come s on when I open boot,and. Dash lights,light up ok ,but no front or rear interior or passenger or drivers mirror lights.they all worked before but just stop working ,checked all the fuses on pass fuse box ( mines a vectra estate 2008 cdti Sri ,any help would be good

Try looking in the troubleshooting section under electrical / interior someone might have had the same issue you have.

Thanks dog_book ,just looked through the manual to see if I could find the fuse number to check that but no luck,but glove box and boot light still work and side light switch illumination etc,as sure it used to come on on the fob key when pressed and that no longer comes that way either

Have you physically checked the bulb to see if it's OK? they are just the 501 sidelight bulbs and don't last forever.

Hi yes had a quick look at the 4 front bulbs in the interior light (front or rear don't work Sri cdti model) but they all ok
