It's possible that the roof loom is at fault

Yes all the other lights are good even down to the symbols on the light fitting when I open the doors or turn the lights on. I am getting an earth and a live at the plug. These are operating correctly when the doors are open, but I have no map lights or dome lights even when buttons are pressed. I have changed the unit as well. Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem - have you solved it? Have trawled forums to try to find a solution but I am at a loss at the moment...

Right guys, if all the fuses and bulbs are ok and the rest of the lighs work ie glovebox and boot you will need a new/second hand roof loom. I had the same issue and swapped out the loom and all was good. If you can try and get one from a higher spec car these come with the extra loom for auto dim mirrors and auto lights/wipers if your looking to retro fit these in the future.

told them that over a year ago on the same thread............its obvious that theyre ignoring it or not bothered about fixing it.

its getting pointless replying to issues on here now.

it looks to me like most issues are posted on this forum because theres no sensible answers on Facebook.....so they just "hit and run" the main forum.

reason I stated the loom is the issue is because Junior had exactly the same trouble with his estate and only the loom replacement solved the issue......now if I were to read that having suffered the same problem, id be sorting it right away.....
