Default Potential New SRi XP Estate Owner - Help / Opinions Please

    Hi all,

I may well become a new SRi XP Estate Owner for my new company car.

It is due for renewal in September but we always have to start looking now as we have to have white cars and you are limited to what you can get in white in the UK.

So I stumbled across the SRi 150 CDTi Estate with Exterior Pack.

Never seen one in white, so if anyone has a picture please show me, or maybe a Silver Estate would be as near.

Just after comments really, concearns are power, is there enough? Build quality and ride comfort.

    Cheers

    Dave

Power;- 147/148 bhp, its quick enough in std trim. 175/180 cheaply available
Build Quality;-Very good, no rattles over bumps. Solid construction.
Ride Comfort;-Pretty good even on SRi suspension.
Best Sports Car I've ever owned.

I like the sound of this in white. Especially with the XP pack.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, White is coming back, in a big big way.

    Either
1, police cars are now silver because they can't get anything for them in white on resale, you're doing it to save the company some money, good man .

2, tell them you asked for white but got star silver by mistake. if you squint your eyes when you look at it ..............yeah it still looks like star silver

    Go for it!

Power is enough, not blisteringly fast, but it's certainly not short of power.

Must admit that white wouldn't be my choice, but it may look very good. It would stand out though.

The ride is a bit hard at low speed, on 19's and with the sri suspension. However once you are travelling faster, motorways and A roads especially, it is fantastic.
The Girlfriend gets quite travelsick in most cars, but in this one she rarely feels ill at all. I think it's because the ride is firm, and not wallowy (is that a word?).
    I'd certainly recommend one!
