Park Pilot problems.....

My parking sensors havent been working for a while now, in that when I engage reverse the car beeps and the P lights up on the dash.

When car was in for servicing, I had my mechanic take a look and he reported that there was "Low voltage coming out of the unit". He determined this by plugging in a computer to the car and reading off the faults.
Mechanic suggested I replace the Park Pilot module (£200 from VX). A quick hunt on eBay and I managed to get one for £20.

Have today plugged the replacement module in, and now when I select Reverse nothing happens, no beeps, no lights on dash and no lit up Park Pilot switch. Also, when I press the Park Pilot switch, it lights up but thats all.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Will the replacement module need programming to the car, as I thought they were plug and play?

Anyone with Tech2 or Op-Com willing to have a play?

You need to program it to the car. Hope you got a tech2 reset one, or at worst know the code to it.
You will also need your car code too.

U dont need a code for the PP it just has to be programmed to suit ure car, the settings etc
