    Default Johnny Cash

Just discovered the man and his music at in my old age (well I am nearly thirty lol). What an amazing story he had.

Just seen this video again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO9dbmJ_2zU) and I have to admit to shedding a tear. Shame that I only discovered him after his death.

    Anyone else agree?

When I was 17 & a tea boy at the beginning of my carear in car audio and security 11 years ago we had a guy called Shaun who had just turned 30 something working for us as a fitter. He had long scraggly hair & was a typical Hill Billey bless him. I owe him loads as he started to teach me the basics of what I have progresed on over the years.
He was a big Johny Cash fan & always would nip in to grab his album to test a huge stereo system he'd just installed. You'd always tell he'd finished as "The Ring Of Fire" would be tearing thorugh the whole shopping precinct where our shop was.

I was even sat in the cinema one evening watching "Gone In 60 Seconds" and there's a scene where Cash is playing in the back ground. My god I jumped up from my seat saying "I don't believe it, it's Johny Cash playing in the back ground" Should of seen the looks I got.
Who else can pick that scene out?

Our fitter left the company after 18 months of me starting. A while after I found his Johny Cash album he'd left behind & to this day I still have it, I never listen to it as I'm still in my 20's but can't say I don't like his music, it's more of a token for me to remember a great guy he set me off in my life. Also everytime I hear his music.

How's that story for a tear jerker

Loved J.C. Most of My life - fair enough I'm only 22, but I discovered it many years ago as my Dad was a fan, I Just regret never getting the Chance to see him Live.

I Have 13 or 14 Cash Albums and I'm always looking for other Albums because I do want to Collect more.

He is the Only Artist that is really appreciated and admired by other artists regardless of their type of Music (Metallica, Slipknot amongst some)

    R.I.P Johnny
