    Default Supercharger

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned on here before (probably has), so apologies if i'm duplicating a thread, but, do these things actually make much difference?

For £140 i can't see it making that much of an improvement, but then again, i don't know anything about engines! lol

    Thumbs down

Stay away mate, this account was selling cheap necklaces earlier on & has suddenly switched to these "superchargers", since then there are numerous complaints, no-one has actually left feedback saying it works!

20HP can probably be had with a £60 chip. The fan that drives the air in his device needs to take power from somewhere to run - no energy is free. Sounds like rubbish to me.

Did the airbox mod last weekend, removed the lower pipe only, I didn't want to do any cutting. The car has lost a bit of the flat spot it had below 2000rpm & seems to rev easier, sounds better to!

I've done the same mod to mine and stuck a K&N filter in. seems to respond a little better through the gears... doesn't drag it's feet any more but isn't any faster if you know what i mean.

biggest load of horse****e ive ever seen, might as well point a hairdryer up the air filter hose.you'd need a long extension cable though if you were going any further than the end of your drive.

Old thread I know but I'll bump it anyway.

I'm thinking of getting one of these...I know what you say but I have three air feeds into my box and two air filters. With my setup it might actually make a difference, especially if I had three of them all feeding into the same box.

Anyone been suckered in that wants to flog it cheap?
