    Default Diagnostix Help

I was wondering if anyone can help. My car is smoking quite badly on full throttle since having the box fitted.

Mine is at Position 21 (Presuming it came already set to position 18) so I have turned it 3 times anti clockwise.

The reason I ask is that the car never ever smoked before and I was told by Diagnostix that, if it did'nt smoke before it should not smoke now.

I am sure there is a simple answer, but any feedback would be appreciated.

I had a bit of smoke at turn 23 on the diagnostix box, so I turned it down to 21. It's a little smokey but nothing major.

looks like 21 is the best setting then. I'm calling them today to discuss their new Digital Box (Viper 190bhp from a CDTi 150)

I've spoke to Diagnostix this morning about other things, and they've said that the new Viper box is digital and not analogue like the one we have. With a little tweaking he reckons a 1.9 CDTi can produce 210bhp. I will be having one, if that's the case.

Imagine what a V6 CDTi will produce.

Well, 486 miles later, it appears to be better.

Worth noting though, on your trip computer, the gallons used function does not read accuratly when using a 'box'

As these readings are taken from the ECU, something happens to it. I am not sure what but the box 'appears' to be making the ECU miss some info for the trip, mine ran out at 10.4 gallons today, when normally you run it to 12.2 gallons.

To see if this theory is right, I have filled up again, zeroed the trip and removed the Diagnostix box, just to see it it goes back again.
