    Default 29mm Hole Saw

    All,
Can anyone recommend a decent 29mm hole saw. Seems to be a uncommon size. I'm after one for drilling the holes in the bumper for park asssist sensors.

    cheers,

    Paul.

I would use a smaller size and then take a round file to it.

Some sensor kits include a hole saw in them, you could find someone who fits sensors and see if he has a spare because they are almost throwaway items.

Just been out & checked my tool box as I fit Steel Mate sensors. They only go as big as 25mm. I wouldn't cut a smaler hole & try opening it up, useing a hole saw is the only way for he best result.
That one listed above would be suitable as long as it has a pilot bit in the middle to center the point of drilling. Otherwise I would use a cone cutter drill bit but you would have to use it from behind as if you drill it from the front of the skin when the back is big enough to accept the sensor you'll find it would of shaved the paint off the front surface where as when using a hole saw you get a 29mm cut all the way through.
