Fitted this today,as you can see its a bit shorter, its really easy to fit and gives the gear change a nice chunky feel and i get a new knob as well

Very nice - guess you'll be spending quite a bit of time rubbing the tip of it....*ahem*

polishing the chrome finish, i mean!

Out of interest, if you don't mind telling - how much, and where from? Makes an alternative to just replacing the gear knob.

In total hour and half, ignored the instructions and fitted it without taking the gearstick housing out.Well worth the money as the quality is very good.

Defiantly, its about 4-6cm shorter (to the top of the knob)so the arc the stick moves through is less and it takes any slop out of the feel.

It looks real smart. But do you need a longer arm now, or do you lean over a bit.

If you're happy with a shorter knob my man, then fair play to you!

I'm all for not having a sloppy one though!

Looks quite good by the way!
