    Default Oh what to do...

Amazing what can happen when you've been out of your car for two weeks!

Following on from this http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=20702 I collected the car from the dealer this morning, and I was shocked at how uncomfortable my Vec seems after the Volvo!

By the time I got to work I was fed up with the seat (the Volvo's setup made it easy to get comfortable as I was able to get support under my thighs), the steering and pedals felt way too light and the interior just felt, well, cheap and tacky.

If there's anymore problems with the Vec I think I may be straying towards a V50...

Has anybody else had the same experience after not driving their car for a while?

The Corsa I had the week before was a lot better than I was expecting as well to be honest.

The Volvo was an absolute cracker, lovely engine and chassis, and even though it was the base model it had everything I would wish for (even climate control) and I accept that its just an expanded F*rd F*ckup chassis underneath (plus this one had Volvo's version of the 1.6TDCi).

List price wise they are nearly comparable, but used is a different story! A V50 2.0d may have to wait a while

Volvo seats are always great, it's their party trick -well- that and some of their ICE systems.

I used to often travel 400 miles a day in my old 850 and never had back ache, it just became too costly to run for the sort of mileage I was doing.

140k on the clock and was sweet as a nut !
