VBOA 2015 Booking Details

Venue Billing Aquadrome, Crow Lane, Great Billing, Northampton, NN3 9DA.
Dates Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th 2015.
The rally is the VBOA's major event of the year and as full members of the VBOA the club will again be attending as one of the official clubs.
If you wish to attend and exhibit on the club stand you will need to be a Full Member. This is not something that the club dictates, it's a requirement of the VBOA that only paid members of clubs should be on the club stands. All of the other VBOA clubs will have the same requirements.

All members need to make their own booking with Billing for camping and pre booked entrance on 01604 408181 and select Option 2. However before you call pm me for the discount code that will allow you the prices listed below. The basic information about prices, attending etc. are as follows.
The VBOA have again secured all the normal areas for the rally this year and also the discounted camping rate.

•Deadline for pre-booking pitches, and getting the discounted rate, is 4th July. Any bookings made after this date will be charged at the full rate.
•For those camping on site rally rates will apply to Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night. Participants may arrange extra nights before and after these dates at normal park camping rates.
•The special VBOA camping rates, for non-electric pitches, are £15 per 24 hour period for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. If staying overnight on Sunday, departure must be by 10.00am Monday morning.
So for example if you were camping and arrived on Friday and left on Sunday it would cost you £30 for the pitch and up to 4 adults if arriving in one car or £45 if you left on the Monday.
•There is no minimum night booking period. Members can pre-book for 1 night and get the rally rate.
•Extra vehicles will be charged at a flat £10 for the duration of the event as described above.
What that means is if, say, two people are sharing a pitch/tent but arriving in separate cars then the cost will be as per the paragraph above, with just an extra £10 for the second vehicle - as long as the total number of people on the pitch is no more than four people!
All pitches are for one vehicle and a maximum of four people, so if there are three of you in one car and two in another car all sharing a mahoosive tent, you will incur two lots of pitch charges because of the number of people.
•Day visitors will be charged £10 per day per vehicle and up to four people and do not have to pre-book.
•Pre-book electric hook ups will be charged at an extra £6 per night.

Pre-book benefits
As well as the discounted rate, the following benefits will apply....

•Pre-booked attendees will be directed to a dedicated “fast track” entry lane and pick up their welcome pack/Billing passes at the gate house.
•The “welcome pack” will include a park map with the VBOA Club stand locations.
•Special Friday night meal deals ( 2 for £12, children half price) plus breakfast and other special offers.
•Half price passes for The Venue leisure complex - swimming sessions will only be £2.50 per person and not the usual £5 per visit.

Other Information


•Site ground work will be undertaken before our visit to make good flood damage.
•Existing toilet and shower blocks will be inspected and repaired as necessary prior to our visit. An extra portable unit will be brought in to service the Swans Field area. This will be 1 shower block and I toilet block. All will be open from 6am and serviced 24 hours.
•Entertainment will be available in the leisure venue on Saturday night.
•24 hour security will be provided by the Billing on-site team plus a dedicated VBOA dog handler employed by the VBOA.
•An 11.00pm site curfew/excess noise rule will be applied to all Park visitors by Park security.
•Park management will attend the 9.00am VBOA rep briefing meetings on Saturday and Sunday morning to handle any complaints about facilities etc.

The first 40 (Full) Members who exhibit on the club stand will also receive a VBOA Billing plaque, this limit is due to the allocation of plaques from the VBOA this year.
