So, i went and picked up the bumper today. I honestly cannot believe i got it for only £40. It's absolutely mark free, and best of all it's exactly the same shade of silver as my car

Proper bargain that fella, nice one!
That a real bargain, bare bumper is normally £100...
Cheers lads
So today I managed to fit my new CD30 and bumper. I went for the CD30 as i don't have a need for the Satnav on the CD70 and the other options it comes with, and i got it cheap, which is always nice!

And then off came the bumper leaving this -

I got it all together, only to find the horn no longer working, so off it came again to sort that out (Just swivvled it around and it started working again lol). Then i couldn't get the side of the bumper to slot in flush with the wing. The last one was damaged in this area, so looks like it had damaged the mounts slightly. Finally sorted that, and put it all back together 2 hours later haha.
So we started with this -

Much better, if i do say so myself! Now it's time to rest as i hurt my back
Okok, i noticed today in the light the colour is quite a way off lol. Ah well, will make do for now.
Sold my old bumper for £50 too, so the new one only owes me £23.44 in Diesel
I didn't expect to come across this last night!
Reminds me of when I was driving at night in Uganda with the now estranged wife a few years ago and found an elephant in the middle of the road. But that's kinda expected there!
So this happened today... Do you think it's a new way to indicate if yours don't work?
So yesterday saw me get a new timing belt, rollers, water pump, aux belt and idler pulley, oil and filter change as well as both the front outer CV joints replacing (Cost a small fortune all in)
However! The car no longer whines with the idler pulley, creaks when i turn the wheel and i now have piece of mind about the timing belt
Now i just need to sort the two leaky driveshaft seals
