    Default Ants

    Okay,

I've got ant's in our excuse for a conservatory......****** things.

What's the best product you have used to get rid of them.

I've heard that Nippon Ant Killer Liquid or Rentokill Ant Killer Gel are the best to go for.

    Thanks

Nippon powder is great stuff, just find where they emerge from their palace like abodes and dose liberally. Leave for a few days and that should be that. Always read the label !

i get them every year around (and in) the conservatory, just about any ant killer does the trick and a kettle of boiling water sorts out any easy to access nests. look for any tiny cracks or holes in the mortar where they are getting in and fill them. They live somewhere under our patio - one day ill wipe em all out.

Try a plug in ultrasonic pest controller.
Sends a pulse through the mains cables, we found that it worked a treat.

Pyrethrum is the chemical in most pesticides that should do the trick. You can also buy poisoned ant food, which the little workers take back to the nest for them all to feast on. Not tried it.
Ant powder, boiling water, and a size 12 boot are my usual tactics.
