    Default Educating Youth

I had a convo with a young fella in the car, he was telling the others in the car about his mate who'd been arrested again for walking on a motorway, I couldn't hold it in, I said to him...why is it no one your age will listen to anything anyone tells them, and informed him that cars doing 70+ and the human body don't mix well, before i go any further I must add he was a good kid, just impressed by somone who probably won't make 30 a little too much, well I'd just scrape myself back up and carry on was his reply, wrong I said, 1st you'd go into shock if you weren't either dead or in a coma, then you'd feel cold due to blood loss, then you'd pass out, and if you were lucky all that would happen before the pain arrived, he looked a little sheepish at this point but still would not concede that I was right and that's why no walking on a motorway is a law.

Perhaps if admin will allow some of our paramedic members could get some shots of broken limbs etc to post in the thread so the reality can be seen, not that it would do much I guess, cos tuff guys is cossetted kids most of the time.

Trust me, speaking fom experience, you wouldnt want to see pics of people hit by cars at 70mph, they just kind of 'pop'. Not nice.
I suppose the problem with youth is your immortal, I know I was when I was 17-18....!!

The trouble with being young is, you think you already know it all.

I was like that during my 17-21 years, thankfully at 22 I've learnt that life is more of a learning experience, and once you think you know it all, you're toast!

I think we all thought we were at that age, but even so I knew that cars and bodies don't mix, even had some pr1ck the other night deliberately ride out in front of me and slow down as he did it, what he didn't realise is that i didn't want to mess my car up playing his game, but someone whose just had a ruck with the wife and driving an old banger might just lose it enough to scoop him up, at the time i thought....if I had an old car matey, I'd have clipped your back wheel and put you in a spin.
