    Think I'll be getting EU breakdown cover too.. Anyone upping their insurance to Fully Comp for abroad?

    Yep, it's a no-brainer IMO. Do you want to be driving abroad only third party cover?

    What insurer you with? - you may already have it on the policy.

    With NUD and no its only third party.. Will cost £26 to up it to fully comp

    C had to pay £9 extra to get fully comp in europe on her's..Admiral insurance..

    I'd still say it's worth it though? Even more than breakdown cover. Costing me £20 to up mine and I'm definitely doing it. I'm sure the minimum third party cover you get abroad doesn't cover fire and theft - think about that one! I'm not 100% sure about the last bit, but that's the impression I got from my policy - that all it is is the minimum third party cover you legally require to drive abroad.

    ADAC are very good in my opinion. I used them to provide my breakdown cover when I lived in Germany. I used them once in Calais and they put us up in a Hotel and then got us a hire car to get us back to Germany. Very efficient.

    Who needs breakdown cover? We have Mark with us Of course, a tow rope might come in handy
