Default Gauging interest - might be selling my lowering springs...

....i think i may have the wrong springs on my car.

the ride is awesome and it sits lovely - but my car is the 1.9 cdti and these springs are for the:

    2.0 / 2.2 and 3.0 models.

they are G-MAX and lower by approx 40mm.

looking for what i paid for them which was £75 delivered or pick up for a discount.

AND HERE IS WHAT THE G-MAX WEBSITE SAYS - When you are going low it's important to get the right kit for the job.
With the GMax advantage you get the benefit of much improved handling but without sacrificing ride quality too much. GMax offer around 30mm-40mm drop in most instances. With GMax you are in safe hands and you can look forward to a more enjoyable driving experience.

    Benefits:

    •
Safe approved lowering kits
Great value for money, we're cheapest on the net
Improved handling and a sporty look
    • Good quality strong spring kit

will then be on the look out for some new / used springs for my 1.9 cdti (axle weight is F - 1080kg, R - 980kg)

pic of my car with them fitted...

jamesy i'm surprised that your 1.9 is sitting so low on springs that were intended for the 3.0 amongst others. i'd expect it to be riding unusually high, with almost no difference over the standard sri setup.

maybe as im running standard shocks too? i like it that low to be honest - the lower the better. however notice the back hasn't dropped much at all.

next time im gonna spend a few hundred quid and get the shocks and springs i think!!

hiya matey - can be fitted within an hour - have no idea how to do it myself but a mate of mine who has his own garage did all 4 in about 50mins.

i am happy to post if required.

    would take £75 all in.

I have looked into it a bit mate, and i am thinking along the same lines as you, if i'm gonna do it i'll do it right, IE: full kit, shocks, springs the lot!!!!
So as the dragons would say: And for that reason i would like to declare myself out, Thanks anyway!!!!!

fair enough thanx for letting me know - always nice to be able to do the full kit but only if funds will allow - these are a great "budget" option to GO LOW!!!!
