    Default Jimmy Bond Film

Finally got around to watching Casino Royale early this morning.

Was expecting it not to please me.

Thought the actor was all wrong for the part.

Thought the modernisation of the whole thing would be naff.

WELL! I'm pleased to say I got it wrong on all the point's I mention, I thought it was a gr8 flick, I thought Mr Craig was excellent in the part and look forward to more from him, I quite liked the advert for the new Mundeo as well as the Aston and the XJ that featured through the film.

Only one thing sort of annoyed me, they've gone for the Lord of The Ring's style thing by splitting up one film into 2 or 3, as evident at the end of the film being the start of the next.

yep, i thought mr craig was not gonna be right for the part, but i was so wrong! he fits the part so well, plus the film is not full of silly gadgets or snogging scenes!
    look forward to more!

yeah I really enjoyed it too ! best £7 from ASDA ever. The only thing I dont like is the blatant product placement, i.e. Ford/Jaguar/Aston also the 'Virgin 'jets everywhere, constant visuals of the Sony products i.e Sony Erricsson mobiles, Vaio Laptops, and Sony digi cameras. Not forgeting the "is that a Rolex", "No its an OMEGA" and thats just off the top of my head.

maybe I should go out and drive more

I watched it last night as well, & was impressed, it's a great film.

The only thing is, it's a bit long, I get fidgety when you get near 2hrs.

And what exactly would you call the glove box in his DBS, unless you know any option packs from Aston which supply defibrillator, drugs and a private arsenal? (sorry if anyone hasn't seen it yet...)

And again....did he not bed the girl by the end of the film? Bond's never been a snogger, not till they're between the sheets, anyway!

    Sheesh......
