    confused Time for a re-map ??

    Right Chaps/Chapesses

Now I havent had my little car long....... and whoever it was that said I would start spending money on it was right !! this appears to be the best site to encourage me to spend shed loads of cash making the car look and go nicely.... probably leading to a single life again ..... so help me out please peeps

Im going to go for a re-map to up the bhp, where do I go to get it done ? without invalidating the VX warranty? and am I right to think its in the region of £400 ???

My little babe is a 1.9 CDTI 150 on a 56 plate with satnav

888 charge £550 but I would not recomend them personally. I'm sure many others will come alone shortly though and tell you they are great.

In all fairness nutron, you are the only one to have a remap from them that you are not happy with.

Loads of members have had it done there and been perfectly happy.
I have not had mine remapped by anyone so am perfectly placed to see all sides. There are a number of places to have a remap but only 888 keeps your warranty (sort of)
Your best bet is to phone around to see what would happen in the event of your ECU being reset by the dealers. Would they do it again FOC. ????
As far as i know 888 do this. Check with Regal to see how they stand on this.

I can't justify spending over £500 when i can get the same (and more) from my little box of German tricks for £65 A remap may (so it has been said) be better for longterm reliability. Only time will tell

You got your map for free and refuse to have it taken off your ECU even though they refunded you? ****** good customer service if you ask me!

Highly recommend Triple Eight. 2 cars mapped there for me now....

I think you will struggle to find any other member who has a bad word to say about the 888 remap.

I myself have had it and am over the moon with it, and it feels very different to a tuning box
