This is a side view of the refurbed front and rear original waiting to be refurbed , I thought they looked grey at first but may have been the low light .
Actually look pretty much stock , which I thought looks great .

Nice job there Paul, and pretty fast work as well. Gonna have to put up some full pics of the car when you get the rears done.

Cheers Kev . yeah rubbed down with 120 grit then used aluminium filler , 400 grit, primer 2000 grit, base coat , degrease then lacquer, got the third one primered tonight .Ready for basecoat .
So should have them done fully tomorrow , masking is a ball ache but then spraying take minutes .
    Full pics tomorrow buddy.

today I resprayed the really bad rear o/s alloy , this had a chunk taken out near one of the dimples making a difficult job , anyway heres pics of the rear o/s amd n/s which is drying overnight before final lacquering .

Qx triple cleaner used to clean the crap off.20140911_142651.jpg
£8.99 ebay 5 litre have been using this a lot it's good stuff for the price .
120 grit wet and dry and old paintbrush then wash it off.
    20140911_105636.jpg
    20140911_110849.jpg
then turned it over did same and let the pressure down

damaged section and also here as well
    20140911_112248.jpg
after the o/s wheel had dried from the primer stage it had to be refilled as it was showing a little bit from where the chunk had been taken out , so now it was time to kill 2 birds at the same time and prep the n/s and refill the o/s rear .
    O/s rear
    20140911_122605.jpg
and filed and sanded both .
here is the now repaired n/s rear ready for primer.

    20140911_133653.jpg
    then base coated.
    20140911_142000.jpg
    and then finally lacquered 20140911_143816.jpg
    and reinflated and refitted.

Stunning diy job on the alloys, I would wait and let the paint settle for a week or two though before dressing the tyre's depending whats being used.
