Default Anyone with TIS - Cambelt change info ?

I'm changing my cambelt tomorrow, with the rollers tensioner etc etc.

What I could REALLY do with is any TIS info around this subject. My car is a 1.8 LS Petrol on a 04 Plate.

Can info be extracted from TIS and copied into word, or other standard package and sent?
Someone surely has the info I need, so please send it to me at the following email address.

I'll even do a 'how to' with pics. I just need some info.

Any images / sketches / graphics would also be useful.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    Thanks very much.

I'll look forward to reviewing it before I start the work.

OK - threes PDFs for you. One for cambelt change, one for guide roller change and one for tension roller change. You'll see that on all three they obviously have the same initial procedure of removing stuff - you just need to match up at what point you would do the different procedures - if you see what I mean.

They documents are for LHD (just the version that it came from) but I don't think there is any difference for a RHD vehicle.

    Have fun!!

DUNCAN, THANKS A LOT FOR THAT.

Followed the VX instructions, and a few hours later, the belt tensioner and rollers were changed and did the spark plugs while I was there too.

Not too difficult, but had to improvise a couple of tools !

The instructions are absolutely spot on.

    Thanks again.

I should hope so - they're the same ones Vx techs use!
