Bad connection to the light cluster? Or if you're using LED/HID bulbs they will show faults.

My old Vectra 1.8 VVT 2007, has had quite a few Cooling system faults over the years, judging by the Parts readily available on Ebay, I think most are probably "Stock faults" Here is my list, feel free to add yours:
1. Thermostat, & as the plastic housing cracked when removing old Stat, that was replaced as well.
2. The Brass temperature sensor that is located at the rear of the Stat housing. They can go open circuit intermittently, or slowly change value. A key component, that tells the CPU what the temperature is, or it THINKS it is!
3. The oil cooler replaced.
4. Water pump.
5. Radiator, they leak from the plastic part, on the air cleaner side.
6. Expansion plastic tank & cap - the level switch failed, & the tanks can also crack.
7. The Thermostat to throttle body pipe, they go brittle with age - the part that connects to the thermostat disintegrated! Does the same happen to the other similar pipe, that goes from throttle body to the Expansion tank?
Surprisingly, the coolant hoses seem to last very well.
Any more?
