Default Where can I get my hands on.....

    Guys,

I'm looking for the plastic covering that surrounds the radio controls on the steering wheel.... can I get these parts separate to the wheel unit itself and if so WHERE?

    Many thanks...

Don't pay £26 for them - or more if that auction goes up.

I've just literally ordered these today as the bit around the buttons was getting a bit worn/peeling. They were £20.50 + VAT from ther dealer - so £23.50 all in.

That's for the whole assembly including the buttons, they don't come as just covers only. It's two modules that you unplug and refit.

Those covers on ebay are the irmscher granite cover trims, to match the interior trim. I got these from irmscher-bits at £26, they should normally be about £45

The ones you have got must be plain black colour Duncan?

    Default Cheers...

Thanks Duncan..... Mine are the black type although woun't mind getting the silver type. Does it matter in regards to fitting?

Also Duncan could you just run me thorugh taking them off and re-fit, is it just a matter or forcing off with a screwdriver..... thanks....

Ah, oops that'll teach me not to scroll down the (ebay) page! I just looked at the top pic which looked like the standard trim and buttons.

The whole button module itself just pops off - you need to undo a Torx screw that is accessible from the back of the steering wheel.

Now that I've seen that they are Irmscher ones, I'm not sure how they attach. They're self-adhesive, but I don't know if you have to prise off the existing cover or stick them on top? Ian T should be able to answer that as he's done it.

If you're after silver ones they come on the SRi I think. What I'm not 100% sure about is whether the button modules that fit a three spoke wheel (SRi) will fit a four spoke (what I assume you have being an LS).

Sorry for the slight confusion with my first answer!

I'm after some silver SRi type buttons and LMF quoted me £75 inc VAT with the 10% discount! Do you have the part numbers for the ones you bought?
I would also be interested in purchasing your old ones if they are silver and not too worn!!

    Cheers,
