    Default Powerklick CR Tuning Box

    First time posting,
So be gentle , just fitted a CR tuning box on my V6 CDTI , easy to do, however when out testing the car hits a brick wall at 3,500 rpm ,no doubt more grunt but didnt expect to loose so many revs , has any one else had the same problems

What year is your car dude? It sounds like you have the wrong profile on the box.

Fitted CRD Red box to my V6 today. On '0' setting it revs cleanly, right up to the redline. When I first bought the box it was for fitment to a Fiesta diesel.Had it reprofiled for V6 to ensure correct fuelling.

Make sure that the 'jumpers' are correctly positioned and in place, particularly the two that are on the left where the six seperate pins are. These apparently control the voltage, altering it from 5 to 12 volts.

Yep, know all about that one. Did the same when I had a CRD2. I sent it back.
Think there's an issue with 3.0 Euro4 (facelift) engines and tuning boxes . not sure about Euro3 3.0's

    Is your car a facelift?

Now running on +1 setting (couldn't wait).Even better,no smoke, but it's still pretty cold out there.Only orange light to come on so far is the traction control one.

Rushed home and found my unit was set to what Powerklick had advised !!!!!!!! .My unit can be adjusted via a pot on the end of the unit, which is accesible once the cover is removed .Powerklick sent me a diagram of the the pot and its settings , basically it can be set between 1 and 13 in very small amounts , after a bit of trial and error I settled on position 5 .The car is now as sweet as a nut and all my previous probs have gone.If anyone wants a copy let me know , many thanks to all who replied ps It is extremely rapid !!!!!!!!
