    Default MMMM help

My car is due its 80k service, and i believe the cambelt needs changing also.Just rang the dealers and they want the best part of £500 to do both. Are these both easy jobs i could do my self? (saving a fair bit of dosh) or am i better off losing my arms and legs to the stealer?I have always done my cars in the past, but they were all petrols and i allways had a haynes to work from(i dont believe they do one for the c)

    nope, no haynes avaliable yet...

if you get yourself a locking kit, then you could attempt to do the belt yourself.. but only if you're really familiar with doing them, as it's way outside our remit to do you a step by step on this one....

as for doing the service, then go for it.. it's a doddle to do and i wouldn't line a dealers pocket if the car is out of warranty anyway..

can you not get a good local garage to do the cambelt for you.. it doesn't have to be done at the dealers at all..
