    Default Pre Vs Post facelift.

I've been running round in a Facelift for the past week or so after asking for one as a hire car here in Pompey. Now I've had it a little while these are my thoughts.

    Exterior:

I still prefere the Pre-facelift. No real reason other than it looked a little more chunky. Though I do like the VXR styling

    Interior

Well I have to admit theres a few bits I'd like to keep for my car. I've thought about swapping the vents, Wheels, Steering wheel and dash/door trim to my car. I like the new interior alot. The wheel feels smaller and more solid, the seat cloth pattern is nicer and so on and so on. Not sure why the dropped the electronic infomation displays for old fashioned dsh lights. I think I prefer the Pre facelift there.

    Ride

Can't see a difference. Ok mine is a Diesel and this is a petrol, but I can't tell much difference.

This petrol one seams a little gutless. I don't know what engine ithas. It isn't marked up. I guess I've forgotten how to drive a petrol maybe aswell.

So in short Interior huge improvement although I did notice the rear vents had gone. Exterior, Still prefer the Mine Unless it was a VXR!

the first and most useful thing i found changing from pre vec to facelift siggy was that the dash lit up as soon as you put the keys in, i used to find that i had to put my lights on during the day to see the dash

I could not stand the front end of the pre-facelift Vectra C - I don't know why, it just made me hate the car so I swapped my Vectra B facelift for an Audi A4 and since the facelift Vectra C was released I was tempted once again back into the Vectra fold.

Weird considering its going to be mandatory in the US for new cars next year and of course Europe will likely follow suit.

They are mentioned in my facelift handbook although I could see it on the options list???

It is an 200 euro option with Opel and an obligation for run flat tyres
