Anyone know what the situation is regarding this.. I've jsut got the plain vanilla type without anything on there.. Do they have to show GB on or something for Euro use?

You can get an EU sticker for the rear window dude. Easily removed afterwards too. It doesn't need to be on the number plates.
As above, plus when I went to a car show many moons ago in Belgium there was confusion over the Euro plates being legal. DVLA told me they werent enough whereas someelse called someone different at DVLA and were told they were fine. Best fit a GB sticker the rear windscreen as AJA says - you dont want a dodgy gendarme or gestapo copper pulling you over it?
Better to be safe than sorry peeps. Lets face it all the Vecs and Siggies travelling in convoy is going to attract a lot of attention. Don't give them an excuse for an on-the-spot fine.
Ordered a new set of show plates and road plates.. My originals still have my dealership on the bottom of them.. But will also get the EU sticker for the window though. Thanks Alex
Don't go to any expense if you haven't got GB stickers. I have 6 spares just in case. Also, when you apply to your insurance company for your green card, they generally put one in the post.
I'm sure as long as your plate has the 'Euro Stars' along with either a Union Flag, Welsh Dragon flag, or either of the St. crosses with England or Scotland underneath, there is no requirement to display a GB Sticker.
My last three cars all have had 'Euro' plates and I've never bothered with a sticker, nor have I been bothered by the Gendarmes.
I've got someone on my insurance to print out which replaces the green card.. I'm with NU.. Anyone else going who is with NU?
