    Default Door Modules

I have two front door modules which I cannot marry to the vehicle because the code I was given would appear to be incorrect.

I am told that I need to download the 'Dump file' from the 'E-prom' within the module (which I have opened).

Who can read the dump file off an e-prom?

    Try asking @plasma

If he can't help you, then he may know someone who can. Failing that you might want to try Pecky at http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/

It won't just be a matter of reading an eprom dump it will also involve a comparison with a known coded door module to "see" where it lies.

But who knows, you might get lucky here, there is certainly a massive wealth of knowledge amongst our members

    Good luck mate

I have registered on the http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/ forum and posted my question hoping Pecky would reply but i have heard nothing so far. On the website he says he can read codes?

Does this be done on the car as I could take the car to him?

I am still looking for someone in N. Ireland with Tech2.

Can anyone supply a name and number of someone who can help?

I'm sure there will be guys in your region with Tech2/Vauxcom but that kit isn't going to be able to read the old code from your "new" door modules.

If Pecky can read the code, then he can also probably tech2 clear it, or amend it to your security code and that could all be done by post.

I am sure he is a very busy guy and it is a shame if he hasn't been able to get back to you yet, did you also try to contact him via the company site ?

Here's a link , fingers crossed for you mate http://www.rjpprojects.com/contact-me/

I am talking about a different car and in this case I want to marry the Vauxhall bluetooth module to the car; so would prefer to take car to someone in N. Ireland

Oh, ok then, I'm sure that I'm not the only one that would have read this as being a continuance of the door module problem

    Good luck fella
