Default Trust it comes back ok

Well it's gone into the dealers for the alternator recall, the centre seatbelt, the gearbox and the engine/transmission making a clunking noise. So hopefull it'll come back with at least 50% of the work done by the time I pick it up tomorrow evening.

I doubt very little will get done with the gearbox/clunking tranmission, but at least it's on record.

On a more intersting note, apparently I have another years warrenty left on a car which is approaching it's 3rd birthday. Not sure how that is, but I aren't complaining. Well that is unless someone has added 2004 + 3 incorrectly

Do what I did. Refuse to give the keys of the C Car back until you have test driven it and it meets your standards!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Well looks like a shiney new alternator has been fitted and the rear seat belt now works. Gear shift is still as clunky as ever so will give it over the weekend and then give them a call next week.

All in can't complain as it looks like the updated the ECU as well as all the settings I had in their have gone back to default (unless this happens when you disconect the battery???).
