Yeah, it's a pain in the backside. I usually pay them £150/200 a month plus paypal fees too.

I just include the selling fee in the price, it's normally between 35-60pence per item for the stuff I sell.

Seems a lot but then again its a percentage fee so you have to sell to pay it. Also where else are you gonna get your goods advertised worldwide at that price? If your mate is paying a grand a month hes getting plenty of sales and ebay dont do it for the good of their health.

I just visited there, searched for something & nothing was listed. Goes to wonder if this is the case how many people actually use them in comparisom to ebay. I know if I was looking to buy something I'd go to ebay, if you want to appeal to buyers you have to sell on ebay.

I just include the selling fee in the price
Yeah I do along with any paypal charges but add it to the p&p so ebay don't take any further %age.
I know in the back of mind it's already paid for, it's just a bummer watching it come out of the paypal account at the end of the month.

The listing fee is payable for all the items you list, what you don't pay if something doesn't sell is the final fee charge (5% IIRC)

It's a double wammy shafting when you sell something

You do however, receive a part funding of the listing fee if you relist an item and it sells. This only applies the first time you relist it, so if you list a non selling item a third time you would get the part refund if it sold the fourth time LMAO If it sold the third time it's treated as though you have only listed it the once - NICE AND CLEAR EH ?! !?

I understand that the Taxman will soon be looking for a slice of the action on any UK related sales that appear to be over a certain limit.
