    Default Parking Ticket

    hi,

I've been given a £50 parking ticket in Warrington today. Not happy.

Does anyone know of any ways to avoid paying it? (fingers crossed!)

ermm... not if it was given to you legally....so if you where somewhere you shouldn't be then you'll just have to stump it up..

Depends if they have made an error somewhere in the admin or the legality
    of the space.

Got one for £30 yesterday for parking in a residents only zone, where every house in the street was derelict or empty?

It was in the carpark near the Halliwell Jones Stadium, where the CSL and various other shops are.

They must of recently changed the regulations, as I have been using the same carpark for years and never had a problem! The reason for issue was I went over the 1.5hrs time limit (wasn't a pay & display though), I wasn't didn't see any signs!

It says £80 within 14 days, £120, then court/bailiff action!

I'm a Widnes fan and just fancied watching a bit of Superleague rugby, so all in all its cost me £50ticket, £16 entrance and a hotdog!

    Never mind, keep smiling.

More like shafted by the dentist and the parking warden . Best of it is I contested it and they emailed back saying my car was observed for 46 minutes.....nice to know I have a guardian angel watching over me!

Like everything else, if you do something wrong then take the consequences and move on.

If you can't, then don't do wrong in the first place.

I'm no angel, or holier than anyone else, but I take the repercusions without trying the wriggle out of my responsibilities.
