    Default 120 vs 150

I know the 150 cdti is faster, more torquey etc, but is the 120 more reliable with regards to swirl valves, turbos, pumps and injectors, and has any member had probs with the 120, (gearbox and DMF for instance) Thanks.

I dunno. I've only had the 150 cdti for a few months but it still manages to scare the pants off me when the turbo kicks in. Much more grunt than the old 2.0 petrol Vectra B I got rid of.

the 120 and 150 are just as good as each other. What you have to bare in mind, the stories of DMF's and swirl valves etc do appear to be common on here, but we are a small community who discuss such things.

There are thousands of these cars out there which have no problems.

The DMF will never fail, they can sometimes get a bit notchy which most people would not even notice, I only had mine changed as I am a fussy ****** and I had it from new so could tell it was not 100% right.

If you buy second hand, you would probably not even notice if the DMF was as fault if at all.

I don't know what a DMF is, therefore mine must be okay. My car runs as sweet as a nut and there is no way a couple of cars that have been with faults would have put me of buying a 150cdti
