    Default Old vs New Signum

    Hi everyone

I understand the new Signum has undergone some significant changes with regards to the handling, steering and ride comfort.

Is this really noticable and worth paying the extra premium for the newer style or are these tweeks something can can be done to the old style Signum by a qualified mechanic familiar with suspension set ups etc?

If it can be done, does anyone know what sort of costs would be involved? Any advice would be grately appreciated. Many thanks

Yes I would say it is, the Vectra C facelift is a better drivers car than the pre-facelift and this does transpose over to Signum.

You can't upgrade the chassis to facelift spec as it was more than just a few bushe's changed.

For you to even attempt to go down this route, it would be easier and simpler to buy a facelift.

either the pre or post facelift signums respond well to having their suspension changed.. either get the irmscher kit fitted by a VX dealer for around £700 or get some Eibach springs and sports dampers fitted for about the same money..

You could just get a dealer to fit the uprated irmy kit for the prefacelift model. Duncan has it, he says its a vast improvement!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
