I'm beginning to think it's never been sent mate, still no tracking number and with him refunding me via paypal, I think he knew he was in trouble by reading what's been said on other forum. Then concocts a story to make everyone feel sorry for him and comes out smelling of roses!

Why would you try and recall a parcel? Surely the best thing is to clear your name and let it arrive to prove everyone wrong. Also refunding me, why refund me when all he had to do is send tracking number to paypal! That's all they asked for....

Also telling me it was posted Thursday and now it's changed to Friday! The whole deal has been strange, he does sound genuine enough but my mind is working over time. I should just walk away from deal, but I want the item

I will wait and see if anything turns up tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath! I'm convinced he will say parcel is being returned to him on Monday ( which we all know is impossible)

my brother worked for royal mail for years and as far as i can recollect, that once sent you cannot recall an item as it would be open to abuse and as said before if at the address no one signs for it or recieves it then sits for between a week or a fortnight then back to sender but with as he has as many excuses as an england manager i would say it smells a bit

Agree I should, but why should I allow him to come out of this smelling of roses. What happens to the next person he sells too? I want deal to conclude and be in receipt of item I paid for. I still want the item so it should be as easy as 1.2.3 but its not!

I want him to prove me wrong and deliver on what we agreed on, or shall I let him walk away scot- free and rip someone else off? If he fails to deliver goods, then I will name and shame and hopefully others will stay clear of him.

He has stated its been returned to sender with a big sticker saying returned!

Also he sent me a receipt witch looks legit enough but I think its been photoshopped! Price to send grille is £8.95 (Not a chance in hell) Plus I rang parcelforce and they said tracking number is an old royal mail special delivery number. The size of grille and wieght would mean it would go as parcel force not royal mail!

So rang royal mail and they told me exactly what @happypostie said! Parcel can not be recalled and size and weight wouldn't go as special delivery royal mail @ £8.95. They also said number on receipt has no info on their screens, meaning its an old number...

I want this grille out if principle! GRRRRRRR
