    Default New toy

Had a long hard think and decided a want using the bike enough so ive sold it and bought a MK1 uk spec lightweight (billy base)1.8 MX-5 in BRG Roundabouts are once again fun to tackle

Ive got a set of MX-5 minilites are in the garage But im having fun on the wheels of steel

They are always thought of as a hairdressers car , but i really do not care it is a modern MG and friggin great fun

Im going to run it standard for a year or so then its either going to get a supercharger or a v8 conversion , havent decided yet , but for a car thats done 130k its as tight as a drum .

Seriously though I know what you're saying about the fun side of things. Do people really put V8 in them MX5. I've driven an MG with a V8 & took my hat off to that on grunt, certainly not for handling though.

    Git

Im looking at Eaton m45 superchargers on ebay off of mini coopers , shouldnt take too much to fabricate some mountings

My vectra would butcher it in a stright line (like it did a 320) but the mx5 has quite a raw feel to it , not got the pansy power assisted steering etc !
