quick question about heated seats

Hi,

Does anyone know if all that is needed for heated seats on an 05 1.9 CDTi SRi, are the switches for the dash?

The reason i'm asking because when i hoovered out the car this afternoon, i think i saw all the wiring underneath the seats. (Can anyone confirm what this should look like?)

nope, you need at least 2 x 2 heater mats; there is how to by leeds vectra about this

oops, I think I may have been playing about with the wiring for the side airbags!

doesn't look like I actually have heated seats then.

No chance, not without heater mats, dash switches, and new seat wiring looms. Also there is a good chance your car hasn't got the floor loom either. Earlier models had this but the later ones haven't.
