    Default v power

ive just filled my car up today with Shell Vpower fuel (i let the car run down to 15 miles first) and what a difference! the flat spots are gone, the engine is a lot more responsive too! im going to now put in a bottle of octane boost as well so i will tell you if that improves it any further. i think topping up a full tank costs about £2.50 - £3 more using V power but i may stick with it.
anyone know what the tesco fuel is like? the 99 ron stuff (same as Vpower)?

Tesco also do 102 octane at some filling stations I have been told.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I use V power, perhaps that's why my VVTi seems more peppy than others on this site.

I use the 99 RON in mine and it likes it - I notice the difference. It also came out tops in a Thorney Motorsport fuel test.

Are you maybe thinking of BP Ultimate 102? Haven't heard of any Tesco 102 RON

oh..didnt know about bp ultimate, typical its trialed down there first, will have to wait for it to come up here.
i thougth tesco were doing a 99 ron fuel? could be mistaken.
just put in a bottle off octane boost and had a quick run down the A19..wow wow wee woo.. now it is really pulling big time.
there is no way im going back to 95 ron unleaded now..i dont mind the extra cost
