    Default Steering Control Adaptor Help

I've got a customer who's having a Pioneer pop out screen fitted to a 54 plate SRI & has now turned round and asked about steering controls.
How can you tell if the car is full or half CAN bus (quadlock or ISO) by asking a question over the phone? Do ISO fitted cars have three push buttons each side of the steering wheel & quadlock fitted cars have the rolling wheels on the steering wheel?
My suppliers list shows ISO up to 05 and I can't remember what stereo he had when I fitted his phone kit as he had the VDA lead behind the glove box.
Want to get the right one as the ISO one is £35 & the CAN bus one is £100.

With your 75bt does your interface plug into the back or is it an infrared transmitter simulating the Pioneer remote control?
The listI have says the ISO interface they do is equivilant to Autoleads PC99-X06.
