That car was getting a proper battering. Not the most comfortable vehicle in the world is it, but by god is it quick. Especially in the hands of that driver.

I dunno if it was that particular run, but according to their web site the SR8 holds the outright lap record for the 'Ring.

The previous record set by the SR3 was better viewing if you can find it, I can't

. It's a black car and the weight difference shows, the noise is savage. There's a few bends where the engine picks up as the rears lose traction, but he still stays there and its not that far off from the SR8 time.
