Looking for info on Std wheels

Hi All

Im hoping someone can help me with some information ?

I have a 05 vectra 1.9 DTH SRI 150, I need to find out what wheels will fit my vectra and what was actualy standard on this model.

15", 16", 17" or 18"

Due to the previous owners liking fo Kerb climbing all 4 wheels are damaged beyond repair / straightening.

Its currently on 17" alloys with 225 /45's

The current wheels are probably the correct size for an SRI.
Vectra's came with 16", 17" and 18" as far as I know.
Used 16" wheels (with 215/55/16 tyres) are cheaper 'cos every one upgrades to 17" or higher.
Used 17" wheels use 225/45/17 tyres to keep the overall circumference the same as 16" so the speedo reads the same.

Thanks for the help, I haven't had the car long but you have confirmed my thoughts on the wheel / tyre sizes.

Now to start the search for a replacement set of wheels ......

The 17" wheels are usually 215/50.

Youre right in that the owners handbook lists both 215/50/17 as well as the 245/45/17 as standard fitment.

I actually run 235/45/17 and it is a closer match to the original 21/55/16
