Ha! cool stuff.....great list of mods...specially for me that I´m new at this.....I´m gonna start cheking out if I have the blue plug to turn off th TC which sometimes drive me mad...cuting of my HP....not any more!.......I hope to get the TC switch from the dealer here in mexico......sometimes they dont have anything for this foreing good cars....its a shame that Vec´s are not as popular as in Europe...I tried to get the metal door lock pins and I couldn´t find any in this country.....I will have to ship them some how up to here.

Hi,I am a new member from New Zealand and have just got a Vectra 2.2 petrol 4 door from Japan not sure what model it is but has most of the options I can see in Holden book.In the photo you have of the traction control switch there is a switch above it looks like a man and some lines behind it what is it for not in Holden booj and can not read Japanese.Thanks Alister

Its the alarm switch..

IIRC, you can use it to disable the internal ultrasonic sensors, if you want to leave a pet in the car, or the windows down for example..

trying to work out the holden/vauxhall model equivilants..you have a CD, i think thats equivilant to an 'elegance' over here.. the CDX is the 'ELITE' i think..

Thanks for that,this car has no model badges on it but has same spec a CDX + it has electric memory seat ,electric sunroof,dipping rear view mirror,cruise control,Dual zone climate control, full trip computer ,8 airbags,memory restore mirror,velour seats,reading or map lights,6 stacker cd.How do i tell if it has ESP .Thanks for your answer .Alister

Vauxhall is indeed the best place to get them from, and in most cases the cheapest as well.
