    keep the vec!!!..

a scooby needs servicing every 6,000 miles and will rip your wallet to shreds..and the new golfs are appalling.thats the opinion of my freind who owns a major VW dealer in Banbury..

you just can't beat the vecs....

Veccy veccy veccy Oi Oi Oi!

Well if it's performance you're after (scoob and GTi) why not look at Veccy GSi or VXR (if the budget would stretch)???

EVERY 6000, blimey....im just bored.. once i put the 18s on and lower it that might keep me content...speaking about lowering i was gonna drop it by 40mm on the standard set up, is that too much? it started life as a LS..

If it's still on standard LS shocks, you'd need to change them when you put on the lowering springs, they'll just don't work as I found out.

You might be able to fit SRi shocks, which are uprated or just buy some new ones.

If you fancy it, the Irmscher suspension kit is I think around £600-700 IIRC

-15mm really... but fit sri shocks and you can go -30mm... or get a kit and go even lower...

the kit will be cheaper than a scooby service thats for sure....
