    Default Change vauxhall display

Iam thinking of changing the crappy display in my Vectra, for a TFT monitor to connect to a DVD at a later date.

    What size would you recommend?

Personally i wouldnt but if you feel it necessary then i would look for something the same size unless you want to cut up the display console

I've had a look at this myself as I might do it and connect it to a reversing camera. The only size that'll fit is a 5.6in screen (and not widescreen!) and that'll involve some chopping on the back of the panel so you won't be able to go back to the old display!!

I think i'll take the liberty of trying this one out when i've got the cash.. Not sure if i should go with the dvd idea or get one of those tft photoframes and make it display some pics instead.. probably go for the dvd option though!! I'll keep you updated!

Anyone got any pics or destructions on how to actually get the old screen out? lol

This thread might help. Screen is different but the principle will be the same. LINK

I've finally changed my display. I used a photo frame which means i can only display photographs, avi/mov files and play mp3's through it..but.. it only cost £54
