Dial Sweep Programming ?
Hi guys,
I know that the dial pointers for Revs and Speedo can be programmed to function as they do on the Vxrs with a Dial Sweep on ignition.
This feature is also something offered by the Happy Light Show Module, BUT do you know where this mod can be carried out, what is needed, how long it takes etc ?
I understand Pecky in the midlands has the knowhow and technology but his location isn't that easy/convenient to me and so I am wondering if anyone in the North West has the knowhow ?
Cheers
Woody

According to a post from Pecky on his own site, this is what he had to say on the subject back in January 2011
Question - "can u give me the details on how to add the needle sweep to my dash?? Thanks"
Answer from Pecky - "At the moment you would have to come to me to have it done.
I spent a lot of time working out and isolating the code to be able to do it. The info is not going to be released or sold by me.
You have to edit the contents of the eeprom on the circuit board."
Oh well, maybe no one else has sussed this out as yet

I enabled needle sweep on the Q7, looked pretty cool on startup.. it was a simple case of enabling it in VCDS (the Audi equivalent of Tech-2).. Hope you find a way to do it..

Isn't this standard on VXRs? If so, someone with know how should be able to figure it out.
