Headlines from Drinky Towers.............

I thought it was time I let you all know about the changes afoot in the Drinky household. It has been mentioned briefly in passing at the Rother meet, but it is now official - after 2 1/2 years loyal service, the Vectaru is going!!!!

Major changes going on at this end - Drinky Towers has been sold - we expect to complete in about 4/5 weeks (fingers crossed - positive house selling vibes, please!!!!!) and the Vectaru is going to fund the work to be done on the new place - not too much being divulged yet as don't want to hex things, but suffice to say, we are going to be pretty darned busy for the next few months!!!!!

It is sad on both counts - the house and the 'Ru - but it is part of our greater plan to get us all out of the town and back into the countrysidewhere we belong!!! Also, where we are planning on being is pretty rural, and I just want a cheapo runabout which won't break my heart every time it gets covered in cow ****!!!!! (there is every chance that my runaround will be a dirty little Astra – please don’t shoot me!!!!)

But panic not - we will still be a Vectra family - Drinky's Elite isn't going anywhere, and will take over from it's Ultra Blue sister as the official show mobile of the Drinky household.

The other thing that will happen for a while once we move is that we will lose internet access - I am not sure how long for, it all depends on how long it takes us to get Broadband out into the back of beyond!!!!

I will keep you all updated anyway - watch this space (mostly photos of country abode and requests for men with vans, I reckon!!)!!!

Good luck with the sale, and move, I had my schedule drawn up this week and the house is going on the market in 2 weeks time, nightmare !! Hope the vectaru gets a good home as well ...

Yes, squire - one is staying within the 'shire - moving to Calevley - about 3 miles from Tarporley (country set, don't ya know!!!!)
