Traction control....

Noticed yesterday (what with the awful weather) that when the tyres lose traction with the traction control active the little orange traction control inidicator lights up on the dash.

Is that normal?

It's the same light as when you de-actiate traction control and only lights up when the tyres lose traction.

It's just that i've never noticed it before.

If you never noticed it before .... youre using to little throttle

yep, the light should come on to let you know that the car is taking matters into its own hands (wheels / electronics - oh you know what I mean) for a short while. should go off after the car is stabalised etc

Mines hardly flashed since I put on Toyo Proxes, grip in the wet like **** to a blanket ... And cost too much to abuse in the dry *lol*

good good, i think it's as TechWolf said, i'm using too little throttle!!

But lately i've been trying to be good to see what mpg i can get out of her.
